Per Press Association. Christchuroh, Last night. A satisfactoryjrial oi one of the motor cars to be used in the new service l from Culverden to Hanmcr Springs took J place yesterday and to-day, under the i supervision of prominent officers of the Railway Department. The car carried a full load of passengers and luggage, and was taken as far as the Waiau Ferry, a distance of 10 miles from Culverden, which will be the terminus of the new service until the smaller streams between that point and the Hanmer township have been bridged, ( ' =«
