THE SUGAR CONVENTION.

'An additional act to the Sugar Convention, signed at Brussels, prolongs the union for five years, from September 1, 190 ft. It relieved Britain at that date from the obligation of penalising bounty-f(hi sugar, but safeguards arc taken to prevent the re-exportation of bounty-fed sugar.
