FIRES.
Per Press Association. Woodvillc, August 28. Shortly after 8 o'clock last evening a fire broke out in the front portion of the Examiner offices. It obtained such a hold before it was discovered that the whole office was almost completely destroyed, together with a large amount olstationery stock. The fire was at length got under, and everything seemed safo until about 4 o'clock tikis morning, when ilames sprang up in a partition. Shaw's bakery <■ uibllshment, which is next to the Exaivuer office, was gutted, together with '.lie dwelling-house. The inmates had ;■ narrow escape. Both places wc:e insured in several ! offices, but the amount is not available.
