SUICIDE.
Per Press Association. Invereargill, August 28. John Pritchard, aged 70, committed suicide at Waiklwi. He blew the top of his head off with a gun. lie vm a small farmer. He had been in ill. health.

At the inquest on John Pritchard, aire J <B, who committed suicide this morning by shooting himself in the head, the ovidence showed that deceased suiTcred from cardiac asthma. A pitiful letter by him was put In, in which it was stated that he was in his right mind, and suffering beyond the power of any doctor in the world to cure. He was '•studying to end it." A verdict was re;urnod that deceased shot himself, thero being no e\Tttence of foul play.
