ATTITUDE TOWARDS MILITARISM.
Berlin, August 20. The resolution on the subject of militarism adopted by the Socialist Congress further recommended workers with the assistance of the international bureau to do their utmost to prevent any threatened war. The methods of action, it was recognised, must vary >.ccording to the political conditions of different peoples. If ;,n outbreak recurred, it would be the duty of Socialists, the resolution declared', to serve to Bring it to a termination and utilise the economic crisis created by war to rouse the masses against the "mere ;sing of armaments and to hasten the downfall of the capitalist classes. Another resolution was introduced ' y the French and Spanish delegates, pritesting against the Morocco expedition. It was adopted. The next congress is to be held at Copenhagen.
