The inquiry concerning the Botorua, train accident was continued to-day, when evidence was given by Clifford. ~ train examiner, that he made the ~; usual inspection before the train start - , ed on its fateful journey, and found -..;j everything in working order. . § 3 Thomas Cooper, driver of the second engine, was examined at great length. {Witness said he had an idea as to the cause of. the .trouble, because the engine had broken down twice, the valve yoke having broken through an old flaw.
