DR. BAKEWELL'S CURE.
I Per Press Association. Auckland, August 22. Interviewed in regard to Dr. Hakewell's statement by a Henfld representative this evening, Dr. Callnor Purchase absolutely denied that he had, after examination of Dr. Bakewell, discovered, as alleged by liim, anything in the way of a cancerous growth, which, according to Dr. Bakewell, was subsequently cured by hypnotic suggestion.
