The IrLali express .steamer Aiigliu, wilh Sim passengers on board, rau ashore on a partially submerged rock between tins Xorth and South Stacks, Holyhead, during a thick fog early un Saturday morning. As the vessel struck the great Trinity House fog gun went oil just over the heads of those oil board, causing the impression that an explosion had occurred. The lifebelts were made ready within three minutes, but tliev were not needed, fortunately.
