SEAMENS DUTIES.
Per Press Association. Wellington, August 14. A lireman on the Atlienic, named Patrick Cunningham, was charged at the Magistrate's Court with disobedience of an order to muster for boat drill on tins voyage out from England. Defendant contended that boat drill was outside the work he had contracted to perioral. The Magistrate, Mr W. G. Riddell, said the order was a legitimate one. and crews must become proficient in uoat drill. Defendant was fined 20s.
