AN ATLANTIC SERVICE OFFERED. I HALF MILLION «L\WTAL SUBSIDY. AUSTRALASIA RESPONSIBLE FOR PACIFIC SERVICE. Received 13th, n.lfi p.m. London, August 13. The Daily Chronicle's Ottawa correspondent reports that a definite offer has lieen made by a steamship company to undertake the Atlantic portion of' the All Red service for half a million a year. Canada oilers to contribute one-half, leaving Britain to contrilnitue the other half, and Australasia the major portion of the amount required for an improved son-ice in the Pacific.
