EGMONT COUNTY COUNCI.
(Own Correspondent.) A meeting of the Egmont County Council was held at Opunake on Friday. A letter was received from Mr A. J. Walker, giving particulars iu connection with schemes for supplying electricity.
The Eltham County Council wrote that they had decided to get an estimate of the cost of electric tram as f.ir as Auroa road.
A letter was received ffom the Eltham County Council in connection wiih the Auroa boundary road-—lt was resolved to again write the Eltham County Council asking them to maintain the road, the Egmont County t) pay half rates accruing to the Eltham County; failing a settlement, the matter to he referred to the Govcrnor-in-Council.
