Sydney. August 8. Xoirt, the man who shot and Mattered the girl Fletclu? at Quirindi, has confessed. Tofft states that on the night of the crime he came to town to give himself up. He became frightened, and h'.ed. lie admits the crime, which. lie. says. he committed under the iulluence ol drink.
