CAPTURED BY BRIGANDS.
Constantinople, August 5. Colonel Elliot, who was reported to have bee» wounded at Guredjik, was really captured by the brigands who kidnapped Mias Stone in 1901. The kidnappers were preparing to remove Colonel Elliot to the mountains, when the timely operations of Turkish troops enabled him to escape.
