A SCHOONER IN DANGER.
I'er Press Association. Auckland, August 5, The schooner Stanley, which is anchored off Orcwa is in' a bad position, and likely to go on shore. The steamer Kapanui got fast to the vessel, but the tow line parted. Several attempts were made to get fast again, but without avail. The Kapanui leaves at midnight, aud will endeavor t'o tow the vessel" to Auckland if she is not on shore.
