After that lie settled down in Ureuui, married, and started business as a baker, a trade that lie carried on until about Jour years ago, when he retired and let his business, Ilia wife predeceased him some live years ago. lie leaves a son and two daughters to lament the lost of a kind father and an honest and upright man. The deepest sympathy is extended to them in their bereavement. Deceased hold the New Zealand war medal.—(Own Correspondent).
