RACING IN AUSTRALIA. CAULFIELD GRAND NATIONAL HURDLES. Received 3rd, 8.40 p.m. Melbourne, August 3. Caulfield Grand National Hurdles— Wizard 1, Dog of War 2, Superstition 3. Ten started. Betting—7 to 2 Bribery. "\\ izard, Dog of War, Superstition. Bribery, \\ izard and South Head were in the van most of the way, but the latter fell at the second round; then I'addv led for a time, but nearing the straight was beaten, and Dog of War was the first to turn for home. Wizard came with a fine run and won by three!quarters of a length. Time—fimin 34% Swimmer finished second to Wilgal in the Steeplechasers' Flat Race.
