FOG IN WELLINGTON HARBOR.
Per Prosa Association. Wellington, August 4. A thick fog enveloped the harbor this morning, rendering navigation difficult. The Mararoa, from Lyttelton, while attempting to berth at the Queen's wharf, found herself almost bow on to the Kuinara at the Taranaki street wharf. The Mararoa, however, took the ground, remaining fast for over an hour, when she was towed off by the Poherua.
