REACTIONARIES SNUBBED. THE PREMIER SCORES. ? Received 4th, 4.26 p.m. St. Petersburg, August 3. The Czar consented to accept, at the bauds of a deputation representing theReactionary Union of Russian People, an ikon from the Patriarch of Jerusalem.
I The Premier, M. Stolypin, excluded! several members of the deputation, owing to their virulent attacks on tile Government. ' The rest then decided not to proceed to Petershof. The Czar was astonished when nobody appeared. The incident is considered a decided snub to the reactionaries.
