Received tod, 12.2 a.m. Sydney, August i. in connection with the voiding or Mr Vanleri'a election to the Senate and tie election of Mr O'Loghlin, the liigb Court began the hearing of an .implication that a, rule nisi against the Governor of South Australia to issue a writ of mandamus for the election of Senator be made absolute. This writ wis iasued on behalf of Mr Vardcn aft,>r Mr OXogjllin's election by the two Hoiuee, on the ground that there »ho'ild hive been a fresh election 3>v the people. Subsequently the Commonwealth was granted leave to internae. All parties are -trongly represented by counsel
