STRIKE RIOTS IN PARIS.
CONFLICT WITH THE POLICE. Paris, July 29. Eleven hundred bootmakers who were on strike at Raon 1' Etape, inarching in procession along the streets of the town, came into conflict with the police, who tried to prevent them junctiouing with the paper-makers in a Trades Union demonstration. The bookmakers began a riot. Several troopers were unhorsed, and the captain of the Gendarmerie (police) was sevcriy injured. Chasseurs charged the rioters. One was Villed.
