An outbreak of fire was reported at 11.31) (the hour, of closing the cable) tonight, aboard the French mail steamer Vide de la Coitat, lying at Circular Quay. Several engines have pone to the scene and. as the flames have not yet spread far. then- are hopes „f cheeking them before serious damage has been occasioned. " - ~
