A SCOW ASHORE.
1 Per Press Association, Auckland, July 29. The scow Keliance is ashore between Mnnukau Heads and Waikato. The crew all got ashore safely. The lightkceper a"t Mauakau Heads reports that the .Reliance is ashore about seven or eight miles south of tin. entrance. The scow sprang a leak in the vicinity of the centre-board, and to save her, the captain ran her upon the beach in a safe position. The Keliance left Onehunga on 'Wednesday last, and anchored inside the Heads awaiting a favorable wind. She crossed the bar on Saturday, bound to Raglan with a load of timber.
