LABOR TROUBLES.

Per Press Associatipn. Timaru, July 25. Some 00 employees of the Smithfield and Pnreora Freezing Works were to have been, dealt with by the Arbitration Court for striking in February hist, but as they had not been properly cited the cases could not be heard and a special sitting is to be held next month. Five shearers were fined ;C2 each and costs for refusing to shear after a majority of the shearers they were working with'had decided by vote that the sheep were in a lit condition to shear.
