The quarterly statistics of schools In Auckland district Bhow there are 478 schools (including 80 half-time schools), with 33,527 scholars, 17,858 boys and 15,8(19 girls, taught by 038 teachers. The fo. lowing are the increases over the previous quarter; Schools, 5; teachers, 3; scholars, 20ft The average daily attendance has decreased by 280, largely due to measles.
