Butter: The market is quiet but steady. The prospects of this commodity for next season are doubtful at present. Everyone is inclinded to hold back as long as possible, thereby forcing the market price down. Choicest New Zealand !)!)s, Danish l()!)s, Siberian !)2s, Irish JUOs per cwt. Large supplies are coming forward. Cheese: The market is steady. A good demand is experienced. Canadian supplies are likely to increase. Hemp: The market is quiet with a tendency in favor of buyers. lteports from Manila indicate that heavy shipments are expected from there. Hood fair grade on spot £35 10s, fair grade £3Ol 10s. July-September shipments; Good fail" £34 10s, fair £3O. Fair current Manila on spit £36.
The cocksfoot seed market is firm.
