COAL LUMPERS AGREEMENT

Sydney, July 22. The terms of the agreement between the Mine Owner* and the Coal Lumpers' Union are that the lumpers are to receive three-halfpence additional per hour I for night work. The owners remain [ firm in their demand for freedom to employ non-unionist laborers and permajnent foremen; but they have no objection in the case of casual foremen to employing unionists.
