Id per hour, washeri (finding "their own boots and aprons] Is per hour, head paddockers Is iy 2 c per hour, assistant paddockers, sorters and shakers Is per hour,, rouseabouts 10</,d per hour, (b) Drivers, for driv ing and attending to one or more horse! £2 Cs per week; no deduction shall I>< made from this weekly wage for 1 bat weather or for holidays or for othei cause than for time lost through thi workers' default, imd this wage shai; include attendance to horses on Sunday week days and holidays, (c) The worker who shall act as stripper-keeper iihall receive not less tlnn 2s Cd per day m addition to the wages paid to him irt his principal capacity, whether as feeder, engine-driver, or manager, (d) The minimum rates for piece work paddocking (which moans and includes all work from taking fibre off the poles and stacking same in the scutching shed) shall .he from Ist April to 30th September (inclusive) 2(is per ton, from Ist October to 31st March (inclusive) 21s per ton; when carting is done 5s per ton sha3l be added to the foregoing rates, (e) 'The minimum rate of pay for scutching shall be 28s per ton; scales shall be provided by the employer, (f and g) The rate for cutting flax and the wages of cooks and their assistants shall be settled by agreement between the employer and the workr. (h) Labour not otherwise specified shall be paid for at the rate of Is per hour; employers may employ youths in or about the work of llaxmilling at from 15s to 35s per week, according to ages, years and 21. The Court has the natives employed at Mr Rutherford's mill at Waverley and Mrßourk's mill at Wairoa from the operation r.f the award, and has reserved power to make a simiHr exemption with regard to other mills subject to the award.
