RAID ON ANARCHISTS.
NO ROOM FOR UNDESIRABLES IN BERLIN. Berlin, May 21. Tlie German authorities have given one more instructive example of the energetic measures they take in dealing with undesirable aliens. Early this morning an extensive police raid was made on the lodgings of numerous Russian fugitives now residing in Berlin and between twenty and thirty Russians of both sexes were arrested and conveyed to the police quarters. Six Russians immediately received orders of expulsion compelling them to leave the country within forty-eight hours, two Russians were detained under arrest to await indictment for treasonable conspiracy, and another was detained to answer a charge of violently attacking the police in the performance of their duty. The German authorities are determined to prevent Anarchists and terrorists of any nationality from utilising Berlin or any other place in German territory as a basis for their criminal operations.
