STAR JUNIORS' SOCIAL.

Prougham street Hall was the scene Oj much animation last evening, the occasion being the social held under the auspices of the Star Junior Football Club. The interior of the hall was decorated with everygreens and the banners ot the club. The floor was like glass, and with the excellent music supplied by Mrs Arnold ficorge, dancing was most enjoyable. About CO couples attended, just a nice-sized gathering for the building's accommodation. Messrs ,T. Clarke and A. Humphries were the jU.C.'s, a sufficient guarantee that the duties were well carried out. So that non-dancers should have pleasure as well, card tables'were provided. The supper, provided bv the ladies, was a feature of the function. Over this department Mrs Dockrill presided, being ably assisted by Mesdaincs F. E. Clark. ,T. O'Driseoll, Simmons, R. ■Titry, and Richards. The tables were tastily laid out, Mrs O'Driseoll being responsible for the floral decorations. The night was an ideal one for dancing, and "tripping" was kept going until the early hours. Extras were played by Miss Riddell ami Jfr 0. West. The social committee, with Mr Leo Humphries as secretary, have every reason lo be satisfied with their effort in' providing such an excellent evening's entertainment.
