What are believed to be serious defects in the building have, it is alleged, now been discovered. The reports from experts allege that the heavy iron girders supporting the first floor have sagged, and that there is a good deal of leakage through the walls and roofs Mother Aubcrt has been given to understand that the cost of remedying the defects will run into thousands. Mother Joseph is considerably embarrassed as to what shall be done with the children under her care.
