PRIEST'S BODY IN A TRUNK.

MURDERED FOR BETRAYING KF.VO-1-LJTUNARY SECRETS. Xow York, May 27. The l>ody of Fataer Caspar Hardan, a Creek priest, was found in a trunk in a cheap lodging-house here yesterday. It is believed that he was murdered by two Armenians for having betrayed the secrets of Servian revolutionaries. Two months ago a New York news|u]>er published an article stating that the revolutionaries were trying to raise money iu America, and Father Caspar was laid under suspicion of being the authority for this article. Father Caspar collected money wherever he held servkes. He occasionally visited the two Armenians at their lodging-house, and he slept there till last Tuesday night, leaving early on Wednesday morning. Un Wednesday afternoon a heavy trunk was brought to the room. The Armenians returned to the room in the evening, and left again within an hour. The trunk was opened yesterday, and the priest's body was found doubled up inside.
