PUNITIVE EXPEDITION AT THE ISLANDS. BLUEJACKETS' FJBE RETURNED. ONE FATALLY WOUNDED. Received, lGth, 1.11 a.m. Sydney, July II Noumea advices state that the cruiser Cambrian, which arrived from the New Hebrides, visited the island of Mallioolo' in connection with the murder of an , English trader. A landing party from the Cambrian fired upon the natives. The latter replied, wounding ten Blue- < jackets, one of whom died. The others recovered.
