Per Press Association. Blenheim, uly 13. (!oIV, a threshing machine hand, lost an eye working with a threshing machine and sued the owner for £2OO. The case was defended oil the grounds that the man was employed by the farmer, only ail engine driver and feeder being attached to the machine, and the others were paid by the farmer, who also found food and lodgings. The K.M.. however, found the "incline owner was liable., as the gang followed the mill and took orders ■ r i.'i (lie cwiKT. I'll : di'pi-ion will probably force machine owners to include in contracts all machine hands' wages.
