Ihe Reichsbets, the organ of tho German Protestants, declares that malicious English intrigues were the solo cause of tne accusations of maltreatment of natives preferred against Dr. Peters. The paper accuses the British Ambassador, Mi I' redenck Lascelles~with bribing German journalists to circulate stories, discrediting the German colonial policy.
