WOOL FIRES COMMISSION.
REPORT PRESENTED. Per Press Association. Wellington, July 5. The report of the Wool Fires Commission was laid before the House to-day. It recommends:—(l) That it be comaulsory on shippers to have the nature >r class of their wool clearly marked in (he outside of each bale; (2) That sheepskins should be inspected under the lame conditions as wool; (3) That tow should be inspected under the same ,'onditions as wool; (4) That flax and ;ow should be covered, if possible, with naferinl less inflammable than hessian; .1) That wool should not be stored with iil. fat, (allow, tow, or (lax, or iu conact with packages containing any of hose products, or in contact "with any ther material more readily combustible han wool itself; (0) Thai, in our opiion, every ship carrying cargo wholly ' f partially composed of wool, flax, tow, ' r other combustible material, should lie tied with adequate chemical fire exinguishing systems.
