A (.overniuent caucus was held to-day o« being present, and the others accounted for. The Premier congratulated the party on the large attendance, and thanked them for expression of welcome. This was, he said, the first caucus since he became head of the Government, and he hoped many future meetings would be held to discuss matters :>f importance. They could not discuss whey measures, but lie hoped the party is a whole would keep in close touch ivith the Government upon the more imlortant measures.
