NIGHTCAPS MINE FATALITY.
VEKDICT OF THE JTJEY. Per Press Association. Kighteaps, July 2. The jury found that the deaths of the miners were due lo the effect of whit* damp, and added the following rider: '"' —''The jury considers that due care wallnot exercise prior to the three deceased ' entering the dip, and recommend that, safety lamps be used for inspection, and that the Inspector of Mines insist upon the management complying with all the provisions of the Coal Mines Act in future."
