A lettur was read from her father, the late Sir John Blnndell Maple, stating that he had paid the Baron's debts amounting to £60,000, within 18 months of the marriage, in addition to giving an allowance of the capital value of £70,000. Petitioner stated that she had undertaken obligations totalling £200,000 to meet the Baron's liabilities. COMMERCIAL INTELLIGENCE DEPARTMENT. London, June 26. The President of the Board of Trade, the Right Hon, D. Lloyd-George, announced that, owing to the Colonial Premiers' recommendations, arrangements had been made to appoint commercial agents who would furnish reports from the colonies with regard to trade and commerce.
