HEAYif 11A1NS AND LAND SLIPS. Per Press Association. Auckland, June 20. News by the Xavua to-day stales that great rains had occurred at the island of Tutuila, Samoa, doing much damage at I 'a go Pago and elsewhere. Some great landslips took place in and around the harbor. One was twenty acres in extent. Another damaged the United States naval sta'tion, and a sergeant of marines was smothered before lie could lie rescued. Two horses were caught in one of (bo slips, and swept into the sea, I but the occupants escaped.
