RIOTS IN PORTUGAL

[ I'OI'ULACE FURIOUS. FIGHTING BETWEEN TROOPS AND RIOTERS. Received 20th, 11.12 p.m. Lisbon, June 20. The police at Oporto are employed to shield the Premier, Seuhor Joas Franco, from popular fury. When he appeared in the street, the Premier and his guards were stoned heavily. A barricade was then creeled, and the fusillade kept up for some time between ihe troops and rioters. Many were wounded on both sides, and 120 arrests were made.

Riots against Senhor Franco also occurred at Lisbon, during which two were killed.
