POISONOUS GAS.
Received 20th, 12.37 a.m. Sydney, Juno 19. At an inquiry into the death of a woman as a result of gas poisoning, the Government Analyst slid that gas supplied in Sydney contained a much higher percentage of carbon monoxide than gas used in England. The City Health Officer, while agreeing oil the dangerous character of the monoxide, did not coincide with the Government Analyst's opinion that the Sydney g;is was dangerous to public Jiea'ltli. ,
