Birds, lire brigade men, "bogies," and all sorts and conditions of people and things were depicted in the various action songs and choruses, and the _~\!is-es \V. and O. JSaker and Dcvonish. and Messrs. Penningiou and Baker certainly deserve the heartiest eOmmendafion for the excellence of ;heir training and for the ell'ee(ive staging. The juvenile soloists were well chosen, and acquitted themselves we'i. and tile choruses am! "actions" all showed the result of careful training. To enier into a description of the programme, which was drawn from nursery rhymo and fairly tale to beautiful tal,ileax from classic works, would take more space than we have at our disposal, but one and all passed oft well, the performers evincing keen interest in their work. The following was the programme: See-saw" chorus; "Clementine," four boys, with chorus: "Sing a Song of Sixpence," by the Infant classes; '"Sleep, ha by, sleep," Misses Mabel Ooomhos and Ivy Wooler; "Out he went at 7 in the morning," Oswald (Jeorge solo, and chorus: "Hot Cross Puns." boys' chorus; "The Pogie Mau, ,> Master Selwyn | Paker and chorus; l, The Fire Prigade." ! hoys* quartette: "I've Come Across the Sea," Miss Owen Skinner and chorus; 'Vuekoos' Concert," chorus; and an infant classes' item relative to the price of bread; two tableaux. "Queen Genevieve," and "Psyche at the Throne of Venus"; recitation and humoros song, Mr. Mallett: concluding with the National Anthem. The takings amounted to Cl2, which will go to the Sundayschool funds.
