COLLISION AT SEA
tTWO STEAMERS SERIOUSLY DAMAGED. Received 17th, 12.34 a.m. ~ *. London, June 16. The steamer Medic, proceeding from London to Liverpool, collided off the South Foreland with the petroleum- ■ tank steamer Turbo in a fog. The Turbo, seriousSy damaged, reached the harbor. A rent, twenty-feet long, was made in the Medic's bow, above the water, notwithstanding which she continued her journey westward.
