A DROWNING FATALITY.

Per Press Association. Nelson, June 10. At 12.U0 this morning a party of eight Maoris 101 l Oroixelles in an oil launch for Nelson to attend the Land Court. Their launch was in charge of one. of their number, Malieuc. Affer proceeding about half a mile a leak in the engine was discovered. A lantern was taken to examine and a lire occurred. Mohanc and several others jumped overboard, and though the launch was only three chains from html, one man, a woman and a. boy were drowned. Present information does not give the names.
