FARMERS' MUTUAL FIRE INSURANCE ASSOCIATION.
GOOD IUiCOKDS OF BUSINESS. Per Press Association. Wellington, June 13. In this week's Gazette the business of the Farmers' Mutual Fire insurance Association in llawke's Bay and Taranjki for the year ended March 31st last ate summarised. In Ilawkc's Bay the assets include: Cash in hand £1 10s 8d; assessments on Premium Jfotes, £207 Ills Id; and amount still payable on Premium Notes, £2704 14s 4d. Tile liabilities are: Overdraft, £OOO. amount covered by policies in force, £48,400. Income for the year included £2912 10s r»l, amount of Premium Notei, and £207 10s Id, cash received on. Premium Notes. The expenditure, which amounted to £OBO 12s, included £550 for fire l«*ws asd £l4 14s for einsurance.
In Taranaki the assets at the end of the war were* £!*fv' in tmi'i't £24 10.'. 3d in hiind and £8747 still payable on Premium Notes. Liabilities were: £109,083, amount covered by policies in force. and £'22 135.. outstanding cheque. The income for the year was £IO2O lis, cash received on Premiifm Notes; £O2OI 10s, amount of Premium Notes; and £24 Is from other sources. There wore no losses by fire. The general expenses were £421 12s lOd, and reinsnr■nice premiums £2B 12s.
