'Louie's "Ark" left iSumner on Tuesday for Tiinaru, and since then no word has been rcccicud as to the whereahouts of ihe party on hoard, which included Tanner himself, two (Jhrislchurch voung nen named S. liudsr ud ('. Davis, two ir.en Wellington named .1. Dean and W. V. ii -nil, and a new arrival from the home coinili-v named Allien Ivlwards, who went as cook. It is understood that pro visions for only three days were taken, and as the vessel lias apparently now been out for eight days, much anxiety is felt for the safety of the voyagers. When the "Ark" left Sumner a fair wind was prevailing, which should have, carried her down lo Tinuiru well within 2A hours. ~
