(From Our Own orrespondents). STRATFORD. Land is on the move, again, and during this last week several farms have changed hands. Mr E. Kelleher, of Toko, has sold out after many years' residence, -Messrs Finchaiu and Newlands being the purchasers. 'Messrs Bonnor and O'Connell have bought out Mr Henry Brown's farm oil the East road; and so changes are being made, and prices advancing. Mr ■!. 1). Messrs Phillips Bros, killed 11 fat bnlbck on Friday which was in first-class condition, but only contained one kidney. An accident of a serious nature happened to Mr T. Yates, of the Kabul road, on Saturday. He was driving a cart containing half a cord of firewood along the main road, and in jumping off the earl, his foot caught on the guard iron, and he tripped, with the result that the cart wheel went over his body. He was picked up and taken into the residence of Mr -las. Groom, where first aid was rendered, and on Sunday he was taken into the hospiul by Messrs J. H. Bleakley and J. 11. Phillips. The extent of his injuries are not known.
