The Taranaki County Council has endorsed the resolution forwarded by the Clutha County Council, expressing disapproval of the -present system of valuing properties as too costly and pressing unduly upon the already heavily burdened taxpayers. The resolutions adopted also state that the local bodies could make the valuations at less than onehalf the charges made by the Valuation Department. The Kgmont Lodge,. 1.0.
