The Acting-AliuisUu* for Railways lias advi.-ed the Now Plymouth deputation which asked for a strip of (lovcrnment land to enable better access to be given to the railway goodshed, thai the Department has 110 objection to the work being done. The proposed work was, however, not required by the Department, which would be prepared to sell the area of land affected.
