Per Press Association. Thames, May 27. A casj wherein the question as to what constitutes a public place was bofore the court to-day. Two men wove charged with disorderly conduct in the main passage of an hotel. Counsel held that a public place was a public bar. The do(i aal ion of a public placo was controlled by the words "as of right." Only persons seeking accommodation or refreshment had n right in the passage. If the main passage of an hotel was a public place the whole hotel was so. The Bench hold the contention to bo a good one and dismissed the information, holdthat the offence, if any, had not boon committed in a public place.
